Module 2 Tools
It has been a great experience for me to learn the tools in the Module 2 toolbox. Screencast will be of great benefit for me this fall. It is a great feature to explain by example. I am not a real technology person, but I am grateful to have the opportunity to learn some of the tools available to me and my plan is to expand my knowledge beyond this class. So, if any of you have any ways or tips I would be interested in hearing and learning about your use of technology with your students or your personal use.

ReplyDeleteI am also grateful for the opportunity to learn about these tools. I've been using Voicethread in my summer course that I'm teaching.
I like the idea of using it for discussions and as a way to introduce myself at the beginning of the course as well as asking the students to introduce themselves. My use of technology is at the beginner stage but over the summer, I'm planning on adding more features to my Moodle shells for my two fall courses. I'm hoping that by next summer, I will feel more like an advanced beginner!
Hopefully you have the opportunity to try out these tools, see what they are and what they might be able to do for you, and then try a few in an actual course to really figure out their value. Then you can always add more. I like your thoughts about expanding beyond this class; that's what the best teachers do all the time.
